History
Boston Market was founded by Steven Kolow and Arthur Cores at the end of 1985. Boston Market commenced its operations as Boston Chicken in Newton, Massachusetts. During 1995, the Boston Chicken changed its name into Boston Market, Inc., and also added some food items in menu. Some new items were meatloaf, turkey, ham, and sandwiches. In 1997, the Boston Market became Boston Market Corporation. In mid-2000, McDonald's Corporation acquired Boston Market. After two years, Boston Market commenced its operations in Australia and opened nine franchises in the Sydney metropolitan area. On 27th of August 2007, McDonald's Corporation sold it to Sun Capital Partners.
