I am a sr. Citizen. One and a half month ago, when I booked BSNL land line telephone at Mulanthuruthy, I was told by the officialsthere that connection will be given in a days' time. After two days when I inquired about the reason for not giving connection, I was told that new cable is to be put crossing the road, for whichpermission was sought from Mulanthuruthy Panchayat and after ten days due to my constant follow up, the subject number has been allotted, but without putting new cable, and consequently the connection started malfunctioning. Land line number 484 2487144 {Vazhappilly Vareed Davis}since last six months this land line telephone is not working and we went to the local exchange office (Puthenvelikkara) and made complaints several times.In the mean time,we got two bills from your side and we settled without using the phone.I am writing this letter from UAE and my parents are staying in this house. My father is 86 and mother is 77 year old. They two are using this telephone line.People may ask to use mobile phone, but it is very difficult to teach them in this age.There are few technicians who came from the local exchange office and they cannot identify the problem till now.Recently,they made a big pit on the road without any barricade,after five days we send a labour to refill that pit. We do not want anybody to get any accident in front of our house.Consider all above, we hope you understand our situation and do the needful at the earliest.
