In addition to Central Library, all the departments possess their own libraries with an exhaustive collection of books, which help the students in their studies.
Excellent Health care facilities are provided for all students of the Cambridge Institute of Technology-CIT Ranchi . Each hostel has a medical dispensary where qualified doctors perform checkups on a regular basis. In case of emergency, hospitalization is done at the Mahadevi Birla Hospital, Mahilong, Which about 5 Kms. away from the Institute.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Three such hostels are there for boys and two for girls. The rooms are available at twin sharing basis. Health Club There is a Health Club/ Gymnasium inside the Campus for Physical Fitness of the students which is an important aspect for the success. A separate Computer Laboratory has been provided within the Cambridge Institute of Technology-CIT Ranchi campus for the purpose of Internet Browsing. All the students are allowed to browse Internet at free of cost to availability of Computers besides the regular Internet period. CIT facilitates Transportation by playing a fleet of buses to pick & drop students from the destination at regular intervals.

Also renowned industrial houses like Tata Steel, Steel Authority of India Limited, Usha Martin Limited, Nagarjuna Construction, NOKIA, Indian Army, etc. have been contacted for in-campus interview during April-May' 2006. Some International companies based in Singapore, U.K. have also contacted us for in-campus interview of our final year students during 2006 for their possibility of overseas placement.
