Prasar Shikhan Evam Seva Sansthan has set up its first private and self financed management Institute at Ujjain in 2003 as Mahakal Institute of Management – MIM Ujjain is conceived as unique value based Institute of Management education and training. The Institute was launches with the solemn objective of spreading the knowledge based education beyond metros, catering to the educational and training needs of large number of fresh boys and girls irrespective of east, creed and nationality. The MIM is located at Ujjain- Dewas road.
Mahakal Institute of Management – MIM Ujjain campus is spread over 75 acres of land with greenery all around. The uniqueness of the Institute lies in its provision as on the job training, semester university examination, minor/major projects, industrial visits, qualitative education, training and building of cultural values and development of effective personality.
The Mahakal Group of Institutes of Mahakal Institute of Management – MIM Ujjain has individual library with individual staff members for each institute. Each institute library displays more than 30,000 books relevant to various fields of engineering from reputed publications authored by eminent authors, and provides a great scope for the students to improve upon their knowledge.
Mahakal Institute of Management – MIM Ujjain library has subscriptions to a wide range of more than 50 National & International repute journals and 25 Magazines. Books of general interest and dictionaries of specific disciplines are also made available for instant reference. Students are issued 6 readers tickets for borrowing books, CDs, journals or magazines. Top 3 merit students in each branch are given two extra library tickets for their use.
Single and double room of Mahakal Institute of Management – MIM Ujjain accommodation for boys is available separately within the premises with the capacity of more than 250. Hostel rooms are well furnished with proper ventilation. Girl’s hostel facility is available on request outside the campus. Special lodging arrangements are made for the students. It has got good facilities and infrastructure which makes students feel comfortable and find a homely atmosphere.

Mahakal Institute of Management – MIM Ujjain have been placed in Multinational like TCS, Satyam, Infosys, and Accenture etc. Dr. Vivek Bansod Guided 40 undergraduate projects in CAD/CAM, 2 papers published in National Seminar, Prepared projects under various schemes. Dr. Bansod has been a Professor in-charge in World Bank Project, Cisco Network Eng. Indo-Canada, and Indo-Japan Projects. Under his guidance National Level Tech fest “Techno Kumbh” was organized in MIT Ujjain, Coordinator AICTE project and new PG courses.
Dr. Bansod is a versatile personality. In Mahakal Institute of Management – MIM Ujjain, he is a registered artist of Madhya Pradesh Kala Parishad ministry of cultural Govt. of MP he is a regular performer at Tansen Samaroh, Kalidas Samaroh, Kumar Gandharva Samaroh as a Harmonium Player, Flute player and state level performer in drama has reflected various colors of his Talent. Presently, he has been working as a Director MITS Since 2006.
