The objective of G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore is to develop into a specialty management institute, with a range of activities which would cover formal professional management education, training, research and consultancy as well as executive development programmes, continuing education, short-term specialty courses, and other programmes in the several areas of the functional and sectoral spectrum of management.

G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore is situated in its beautiful 2 1/2 acre campus in Neelambur on the outskirts of Coimbatore city, about 4.5 kms outside the Corporation limits, on the National Highway (NH47) connecting Coimbatore to Chennai / Bangalore. The location is within the region of contiguous industrial and residential and other urban related development of the city and is well served by both local and mofussil transport facilities and services. The airy and uncongested location free of adverse influences and pollution invests the campus with the serenity ideal for academic and intellectual pursuits.

The total area of the land available is 2.50 acres. The total built-up area in the academic block so far is more than 2055 m2, Plinth area of 12,000 square feet has so far been built up in the womens hostel. The main building of G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore is a very modern two storeyed structure. The Ground Floor has the Correspondent and Director’s Offices, the Staff Room, Visitors’ Room, Office, Accounts Section, Class Rooms, Seminar hall and Conference hall with all modern Audio Visual facilities. The first floor houses the Library, Seminar hall and Computer labs.
The classrooms of G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore are comfortably furnished, well lighted and well ventilated. LCD Projectors and OHP’s are used for class room teaching and other presentations. The modern state-of-the art computer center is provided with advanced software and hardware facilities, high end servers and broad band internet connectivity.
The Computer Center of G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore has 40 HCL Pentium IV Infinite systems to enable high speed processing which are on LAN. Also 7 computer systems are installed in the faculty room, office, and Library. The legal software’s available include SPSS and Tally 7.3. All Systems are provided with 512 Kbps wireless Internet Leased line, 24 hours connectivity. The Academy’s library of G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore has 1765 volumes, 17 National / International journals and 16 National / International Magazines. It has a complete range of modern texts, references and current reading in business. There are also 129 CDs available. Additions are being made constantly.
The women's hostel is on the G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore campus while the mens hostel is located at the Trust's premises in Muthugoundanpudur a few kilometers away with the Academy transport providing the commuting facility. The womens hostel of G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore building is a very modern one with all conveniences and amenities. The hostels are served by messes which operate on the dividing system and provide wholesome vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. It has common rooms and recreation facility as well as the ambiance for undisturbed study. When application for hostel accommodation exceed the capacity, the College can arrange to provide accommodation in its off campus hostel a few kilometers away or in other nearby private hostels.
G R Damodaran Academy of Management – GRDAM Coimbatore has made arrangements with the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Hospital, Coimbatore – 641 004 for providing the necessary health care and treatment for the staff and students. The Academy has a 125 KVA Generator set for uninterrupted power supply. It provides 2 Tata Indicom Telephone Booths for the use of the students. Recreation facilities are also provided for the students.

GRDAM is setting up an active placement cell under a senior faculty member's supervision. All the necessary facilities for conduct of campus placements are available. Excellent networking with companies already exists. The companies which are regularly visiting our sister institution, Dr G R Damodaran Institute of Management, will be invited to conduct campus interviews at the Academy also.
