Hallo. I boughy a tumble drier at GAME Worchester last year. I moved to Upington. The macine is tripping my electricity. I reported it to GAME Upington. They send someone to fix it. They even took the machine to their shop. When they returned it I pluged it in and it triped the electricity again. I again went to GAME and reported it. Since then no one even contacted me. Whats the use i have a machine and for the past two months I'm not able to use it. I buy all my electricals from GAME, but since this incident I do not feel like doing business with GAME any more.

I have spent 100's of Rands on phone calls to the RCS Game call center over a period of two weeks and have still not been able to find one person in that call center that can assist or even understand my problem. The call center supervisors are not reachable either as they cannot take your call directly. The service I have received is beyond poor.

Suggestion:

I have been buying my linen from Game since the opening of the Bruma store. I now live on the West Rand and some months ago bought one queensize and one doublebed size duvet cover set. An oversight on my part: I did not see that it was not cotton, but something called micro fibre. This micro fibre is NOT a suitable material for bedding. The duvet slides around inside and bundles up. The bed never looks neat, but crumpled. My suggestion is that a line be added to the label in bold saying THIS IS NOT COTTON. I am going to buy batting and make both duvets into comforters because the only way it can work is if the material is sewn quilt-like onto the batting. Denise Diamond 072-696-8827.

I have not received any joy as to why my credit limit is only R93 after my payment. I was first told that my credit balance was about R250-00 last week when i phoned the 0861 number, yet yesterday when i went to games Gateway to purchase, i was told that my credit balance limit in only R93. I have phoned three times requesting a statement, i have not received it. When i phoned from the gateway branch to find out what is happening, i was told that because i did not use my card from last week, my limit will automatically decrease, what BS. Last week i was told that i overspent on my card by R250, BS again. I last used my card on the 11/04/2016. I would like all my recordings of my calls to be listened to by a manager or supervisor as i had no joy getting a hold of either one(kept hanging on the line for long period) and i will like proper feed back ASAP as to what is going on.

I'm very concerned and devastated about poor service delivery-Game Store in King Williams Town. I brought in the Salton Mini Kitchen that I have purchased on the 20 June 2015 and you have advised me that it will be booked inn for repairs, I honestly do not have a problem with that, but my main problem is the fact that I am being inconvenienced due to the fact that I cannot get a loan set. Basically I have to survive for 21 good days without a proper meal. My family have to survive 21 days without a meal, I honestly feel that my have rights as a customer have been violated and the manager has been ignorant to my needs. The manger advised me to buy another two plates stove instead of solving my problem and in fact even say it out loud that he does not how I would like to be assisted because you can not help me. I further explained that I am staying far 120km from K. W. T. And he answer by saying he gets people from all avenues even further than where I came from.

On 24 December 2013 I entered into a Vodacom cell phone contract on behalf of my CC, The Fisch Group, at your Knysna store. It was a U Choose Flexi 100 contract I was quoted a rate of 1c/second on per second billing with R100 free airtime per month by your sales assistant. I recorded this rate on the contract No BC 625704. On my statement the rate charged was R1. 90/minute or more than three times what was quoted. I consulted my attorney who advises that it is Game's responsibility as they signed me up and quoted the rate. My contact number is 073 856 72.

I called the customer care number for Game as advertised on two catalogs - got a fax line. Then looked up the customer care number on website, saw that one number was omitted on these catalogs. Dialed the "correct" number - got a message "this line is currently busy" for four consecutive tries. Dialed the advertised Head Office number - automated voice answered and transferred me to the switchboard - after three minutes of tinned music playing in my ears, I just gave up. Everything smacks of total unprofessional - as I only wanted to check on a item that had been ordered on 29March to which I have had no reply whatsoever (Voucher Nr 188/20150329/36) - now I understand totally.

Good dayI would like to bring my concern to your attention, I bought a television sonotec in 2013 August 24 and it started to give me some technical problems when am switching it on. I then took it for the repairs which it happens on the 17/01/2015 and the return it back on the 23/02/2015 without it being fixed because there was no proof of purchase. I then refuse to take it back because the proof of purchase was with them on the 23/02/2015, but it is still not fixed. I call the repairman to make the follow up, but he confirmed that he received the TV on the 02/03/2015 which I find it very disappointing because its been two months now without my TV. I feel that I was not serviced fairly because if I was told to pay for the repairs at the first place I could have done that, but I was advised by game sales person to send the TV without the purchase slip. Game had a Russell Hobbs fridge RHBF420MDG 310 liter on its floors (bar code 6002322012345). On 16 Jan. 2015 I wanted to buy it at Menlyn, Pretoria Branch,, but the salesman said no Game warehouse has stock, and that the floor model cannot be sold. New orders would come in by Tue. 20 Jan. 2015. Game ADVERTISED THE EXACT SAME MODEL effective 21 Jan. 2015. I called the same Game Menlyn store and was told there is countrywide still NO STOCK and worse, NOTHING ON ORDER. Upon asking how can a product be advertised without any stock in its warehouses or at least on order, I was told that the advertisements are done six months in advance. It seems your advertising department does not liaise sufficiently with the purchasing department. Or is this a scheme to get customers through your door and in desperation for a fridge, buy a more expensive product?

I recently bought a Play station three at one of your stores and on purchase I was informed that it had a one year warranty/Guaranty I cannot remer the exact word hence the excitement however 2-3 months down the line my Controller started to have problems with the gear of which I was not to concerned as it was within 12 months it wa astonishing when I visited your stores and find out it was not covered only the console is covered which does not make any sense to me as I bought the whole package together and they are part of the PS3 I mean really what I am going to do with a console with no controller. I phone your call center and they said the same thing and gave me an example of an insured car tires are not insured and my example is like insuring the whole car and leaving the steering uninsured or buying a desktop and leaving the mouse and keyboard out of the warranty/Garanty of which I find very much unfair to me as a consumer.

I was at bella mall on saturday 20/12/2014 at 4:30 pm. I was looking for help in the electronics dept. But couldn't find any staff member all was watching the soccer on the tv's in the display area. Ignoring us flat. When the announcement came that the store was closing we went to the till point. A very friendly cashier assist us her name Phina. We inquire were the store manager was. But ap partly he was outside taking a smoke break. The security at the door informed us that he need to stamp the receipt because we bought an electric kettle. My hand was full and so was my husbands. In his attemp to get the stamp another security officer pushed him inside pushing me out of the way and slam the glass door in our faces. Not even apologizing. When we again asked for the manager to report this rudeness the rude security officer refused to call him telling us to return the following day to complain because they do not getting paid over time and the store was now closed. I just find it unexceptable to treat customers in this way. What happened to customer service. I have been in retail for the past 20 years and never in my whole life have I seen so much incompetence and rudeness. This is just not except able. I small town like Bela Bela one should care for your customers because this town is not always as busy as for now with all the holiday makers if all of them leave we will be back to normal. And if residence are treated that why they sure are going to lose a lot of business. Please train the staff in customer service and let those go who doesn't pull there weight. Those people are harmful to business. It is the customers that pays there salaries not the soccer on TV and clock out time. I will not be shopping there soon. Rather pay more for service and friendliness than incompetence and rudeness. Your truly

I would really like to lay a complain about the game store Manager in Evaton Mall. I was really treated badly by this old lady. I was humiliated, embarrassed, as i was shouted, chased away from the store in front of her staff and other customers as if i was stealing or doing something terribly wrong. All i did was greet and ask something from a worker in no time. She was making all kind of noises, while going out, she was there following me making sure that i was completely out of her store. I do not think she knows the value of a customer in the store or she just do not even care, but with the position she has. She really have to know better than everyone else in the store because she had to lead by example. I feel something has to be done or said to her, if not so Game has lost a valuable customer just because of some arrogant, self centered somebody with no manners, bad attitude and no respect for customers and fellow workers.

Myself and my husband visited the Cape Gate store on 24 September 2013 as he wanted to purchase a Samsung S4 for me for my birthday. At the cellphone counter we were told that the staff member who is supposed to be working there is on leave. One of the other staff members went to go look for someone who could assist us, but we waited for 30 min and we just decided to leave.

We then went to the Zevenwacht branch on 29 September 2013. The girl at the counter was so unprofessional. She told us that our bank statement needs to have the banks stamp on it. We asked her to complete the paperwork in order for my husband to sign then I could bring the statement as required the following day. She very abruptly said number We immediately left and went to Autopage in Somerset Mall and within ten minutes the contract was approved.

The service we received from your branches was appalling and they also lost out on a sale. I will not shop with Game again.
