JSS Academy of Technical Education - JSSATE Bangalore was established in the year 1997 at Bangalore and managed by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore. Dr. Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, the 23rd pontiff of Suttur Mutt established Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara (JSS) Mahavidyapeetha in the year 1954. The JSS Mahavidyapeetha is the central body running over 250 educational, cultural and religious institutions covering right from primary to professional education. The institutions are mostly spread across the length and breadth of Karnataka state and a few institutions are also located in Tamil Nadu & Uttar Pradesh.
