3rd June 2009 is a memorable date in the history of Jai Bharath Educational Foundation, when it received the AICTE approval for the Jai Bharath College of Management and Engineering Technology - JBCMET Ernakulam and subsequently on 20th August 2009, College got the affiliation from Mahatma Gandhi University for EEE, ECE, CSE, CE courses. The classes for the first batch of students commenced on 24th August 2009. Over the years, the Foundation has become one of the leading promoters of academic institutions in the country under the vision of its founder Chairman, Mr.A M Kharim and other trust members.

The classrooms are designed as auditoriums with step-up seating to facilitate discussions, and are equipped with state-of –the-art facilities like projectors, cameras and audio/ video equipment. Separate hostels for men and women with all modern amenities are provided within a stone throw distance from the Jai Bharath College of Management and Engineering Technology - JBCMET Ernakulam. A full fledged air conditioned lab offers 24-hours web connectivity through Wi-Fi system. The lab facilities will be opened from 8 am to 8 pm. A unique air conditioned communication / foreign language lab with LCD projector, OHP, HDTV, DVD player, and a number CD/DVD diskettes are also available. The students are supported for enhancing their communication skills.
