This M H School of Nursing was established with the noble objective of preparing nurses with a sound educational programme in nursing to enable them to serve as efficient members of the health team. Ramanagaram is a fast growing city, 45kms away from Bangalore on Bangalore-Mysore Highway. It is full of greenary with mulbery plants and coconut trees, surrounded by hills on all sides. Apart from agriculture and trading, silk industry is one of the main occupations. Therefore, Ramanagaram is also called as "SILK CITY". This city is also famous for trecking, as it has hills on all sides. People here still cherish the happy memories of the black buster Hindi film "SHOLAY" which was fully shot here.
M H School of Nursing has well-equipped Nursing Practice lab, Community Practice lab, Nutrition lab, Anatomy lab for demonstration and practice. The clinical experiences are provided to the students through the hospitals which comprises of medical, surgical, pediatric, maternity and other specialties like eye, ear, nose, orthopedic, skin etc. This school has a 50 seat capacity college bus to transport students to various clinical fields and other areas.

M H School of Nursing provided library facility for enriching and updation of their knowledge. The Library consists of Encyclopedias, Journals, magazines, CDs, collection of articles from news papers etc. The project reports of the students on various syllabus topics and also on general issues are maintained in the library for reference. Further, the question papers of previous years are filed so that teachers and students can refer them to have proper understanding of the pattern of Examinations. Physics is essentially a practical oriented subject and laboratory work forms an important part of physics study. For proper understanding of the subject, physics is taught using large number of demonstration experiments. Physics curriculum combines laboratory and class-room teaching.
M H School of Nursing have provided hostel facilities separately for boys and girls in spacious halls with beautiful ventilation and peaceful atmosphere which contributes for concentrated reading. Separate cots for each student, racks for keeping their personal belongings, sweet and unpolluted water facilities are the other attractions of the hostel.Mess attached to hostel prepares hygienic food suiting to the native taste of the students and supplies to students in unlimited quantities. The Seminar Hall is constructed to accommodate 250 audience with a spacious dais, good ventilation and lighting. It has provisions for the use of latest audio visual equipment at the seminars / lectures / demonstrations. In order to ensure that the Faculty members strive to appreciate and implement the “motto” of the Institutions, we have appointed highly qualified and well experienced teachers in requisite number fulfilling the prescribed norms. They take the responsibility of blending the academic inputs with personality development programmes, so that the students are moulded into “good citizens”. It emphasizes not only the physical well being but a sound mental attitude that can combat the storms of life.

Large play grounds and state-of-art indoor sports facilities have made the students to extensively involve themselves in various games and field and track events. It has become a healthy habit to our students to come out in flying colours at the inter school and inter collegiate competitions.
A well designed Sports Room caters to preserve the sports articles in an orderly manner. Highly competent and dedicated Physical Education Teachers are appointed to nurture the students’ sports talent and provide opportunity to reach excellence. The department of Sports has been continuously striving to improve its performance every year .Our M H School of Nursing have a fleet of vehicles to take care of transportation of students. Their academic visits, visits to hospitals by nursing students, educational visits are also taken care by these vehicles.
