Hooghly Engineering and Technology College – HETC library was started along with the establishment of the college in 2004 in order to disseminate scientific knowledge to the students with special emphasis on Technical Education at different levels including degree courses. Since then, the Library has increased its strength to live up to the expectation to its users. This library is closed access academic library. It is located towards the East of Academic Building.

A well–stacked library containing all the latest editions of the publications related to the curriculum enables the students to enhance their knowledge in different topics and subjects taught in their courses. Total no. of books in the library has now gone up to 20,000 with 2000 no. of titles. There are different discipline books like Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Science, and Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Environment Science, English communication, and others are available in the library.
