Shaheed Baba Deep Singh College of Education-SBDS College of Education was established in the year 2007 to impart education for the B.Ed. degree course thus adding yet another constituent in the chain of institutions being run by this Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Medical Sciences & Welfare Society. SBDS College of Education is the 3rd and brightest Jewel in the crown of SBDS Medical Sciences and Welfare Society. The college campus is located in the village Aherwan on main road mid of the Ratia & District Headquarter Fatehabad. 7 acres of land on ownership is available in the name of Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Medical Sciences and Welfare Society, Ratia, District Fatehabad (Haryana). The society demarcated 3 acres of land for the establishment of S.B.D.S. College of Education out of its sprawling premises in the year 2007.
The Shaheed Baba Deep Singh College of Education-SBDS College of Education is housed in an imposing newly constructed three- storeyed building with lush green environs thanks to aesthetically laid-out lawns and tree-lined roads. The total covered area of the building is aprox. 10000 sft. with finishing touches under way in respect of the latest constructed portion. Well-designed class rooms are fully lighted, ventilated and spacious. The Society provides hostel accommodation for girl students in the campus. The hostel is well-furnished with all modern facilities like water-coolers, geysers, color TV, indoor games, telephone, newspapers/magazines alongwith appropriate safety-cum- health/welfare arrangements etc. It has well-furnished Common Room, Guest Room and Dining Hall/Mess with a resident Hostel Lady Warden to ensure a perfectly comfortable and homely stay for its inmates. College has well-equipped Laboratories with the state-of-the-art teaching aids and equipments with a view to make teaching and learning fully effective practically useful.

It has a prized collection of a variety of standard books, journals, current magazines, periodicals, encyclopedias to supplement and augment information and knowledge of the teachers and the learners. The students are given free books from the college Book Bank. Effective steps are being taken to computerize the library to keep pace with the latest need and requirement. Our students are allowed free access to the Library of our sister institution i.e SBDS School of Nursing and SBDS College of Nursing which have a proud collection of over 23000 titles on its shelves. The college has other facilities: Play grounds of the University standard, Lush green lawns, Water, Electricity, Toilet facility for the Staff and Male and Female students, Girls Common Room, Cycle Stand, Canteen.
