Pillais College of Arts, Commerce and Science - Panvel was established in 1998 by Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai whose vision was to provide students of Navi Mumbai with quality education in a high-tech atmosphere. It started off with just a handful of students, but today it has grown to full-fledged Bachelors and Masters Degree College with over two thousand five hundred students on its roll and ten disciplines, i.e. B.Com. (Regular), B.Com. (Accounting and Finance), B.Com. (Financial Markets), B.M.S., B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Information Technology), B.Sc. (Bio-Technology), M.Sc. (Information Technology), M.Sc. (Biotechnology) and M.Com. (Accountancy). It is situated in a 10 acre land surrounded by natural beauty and supported by the best infrastructure facilities, a state-of-the-art conference room, well-equipped computer labs and well-stocked libraries.

CIFE has developed a well equipped Electronics/Physics lab under the able guidance of experienced faculties. Most modern electronics practical kits are available in the Lab. Besides the institution have well furnished laboratories for Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics & Chemistry.
Pillais College of Arts, Commerce and Science - Panvel has two seminar halls with all modern facilities in the campus. The juries and seminars are conducted in seminar hall with ultra modern LCD projector, computer, and audio and video facilities. The college building seminar hall has a capacity of 100, The IT building hall has a capacity of 250 and all the juries and seminars are conducted in the seminar hall. The hall is equipped with ultra modern LCD projector, computer workstation, audio-visual facilities and wireless Internet facilities.
Pillais College of Arts, Commerce and Science - Panvel offers hostel facilities to the students in the hostel located in the campus that is meant for all students of CIFE. Psychology Lab has all the tests and the corresponding equipments for conducting psychology experiments based on B. Ed. syllabus. College also provides expert guidance and counseling services to needy students. CIFE has several classrooms which are well equipped with the latest teaching aids and equipments.
