Abir Chatterje is a Bengali Television and Film actor. He was born on November 18, 1980 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He completed his bachelor’s degree from the
Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration,
Calcutta and did his Masters in Business Administration in Finance from the
Icfai Business School. He started his acting career in the year 2004 with the Bengali Television. He made debut in the Bengali cinema in the year 2009 with the Bengali movie “Cross Connection” where he was the lead actor. He is famous for his role as a Bengali detective Byomkesh Bakshi in the year 2010. He has acted in large number of Bengali serials and films.
