Cross Maidan is a vast expanded land located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was formerly known as the Parade Ground and it is under the jurisprudence of district collector. The ground is used for playing different games like Cricket and Football. Eight cricket pitches are hosted by the ground and the ground is also used for holding exhibitions and fairs. Stone cross (Crucifix) built in 16th Century when the
Mumbai city was under the Portuguese rule and maidan means playground. The small portion of the ground has been taken by the
