Charter of 1807. The courts of Appeal and the
Federal Court of Malaysia are headed by the Chief Justice of Federal Court. The Highest Court of Malaysia is
the Federal Court. The other courts are
High Court for civil and criminal cases and other subordinate Courts like Sessions Court, Magistrate Court, Chieftain Court for civil cases, Juvenile Court for minors,
Syariah Court which is limited to the law of Islam and is applicable to
Muslim matters only.
