William Bell is an US based soul singer and songwriter. He was born on July 16, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. In the start of his career William Bell released a few scattered singles in the late 1950s as a member of the vocal group The Del-Rios. His first substantial R&B hit, "Share What You Got (But Keep What You Need)" came in 1966. Among William Bell's other singles include Everybody Loves A Winner, I Forgot to Be Your Lover, Born Under A Bad Sign etc. William Bell has been awarded the Rhythm and Blues Foundation's R&B Pioneer Award in 1997 and was inducted into Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
