Air Nigeria was a private airline company in Nigeria operating scheduled regional and domestic passenger services. It was established in the year 2004 as Virgin Nigeria and Commenced its operations on 28 June 2005. Its base was London Gatwick Airport and Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. The Air Nigeria fleet comprised of different aircraft like Airbus A330-200, Embraer E-190, Boeing 737-300 etc. It has 10 plus aircraft flying to more than 15 destinations. Air Nigeria ceased all its operations on 10 September 2012.
