Alan Khazei is an American politician and entrepreneur. He was born on May 28, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S. He is the founder of The Action Tank, LLC and serves as its CEO. Alan Khazei ran campaigns for U.S. Senator from Massachusetts in 2009 and 2012, however he was unsuccessful. He was also the founder and CEO of Be The Change, Inc and Co Founder and CEO of City Year. Alan Khazei is the member of Democratic party and has been honored with many awards such as William Jefferson Clinton Award, Reebok Human Rights Award and Jefferson Award for Public Service.
