Steven Alexander James is an English musician and lyricist. He was born on 21 November 1968 in Boscombe, Bournemouth, England and is popularly known as Alex James and Steven Neate-James. Alex James is also a journalist, model and cheesemaker. He made his singing debut in 1988 and formed a band Fat Les in 1998. Alex James is the member of a music band Blur and serves as a bassist. He has also appeared in many TV programs such as Mobile Acts Unsigned, Have I Got News for You, Maestro and Popstar to Operastar. He also owns a cheese farm.
