Stephen Valentine Patrick William was a comedian, actor, musician and author of United States. He was born on December 26, 1921 in New York City, US and died on October 30, 2000 at the age of 78. Stephen William was also a pianist and was popularly known as Steve Allen. He started his career as a broadcaster with a radio station KOY and began his acting career with the film The Benny Goodman Story in 1956. Steve Allen has hosted and appeared on many TV shows such as What's My Line?, The Tonight Show (host), The Steve Allen Westinghouse Show (host) and Match Game. He has written over 11400 songs.
