Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan is an Indian producer, actor and broadcaster. He was born on 11 October 1942 in Allahabad, India. Amitabh Bachan began his acting career in 1969 with the movie Saat Hindustaani. His birth name was Inquilaab which was later changed to Amitabh meaning the light that will never die. Amitabh Bachan is regarded as one of the greatest actors in Bollywood and has appeared in over 180 movies. He has been honored with many Filmfare and National Film awards for his acting.
