He joined BBC Northern Ireland in 1985 and is a member of Radio Academy Hall of fame. Gerry Anderson presents many TV and radio shows for BBC Northern Ireland and has been honored with awards like Gold Sony Award (1990), Royal Television Society Regional Presenter of the Year (2004) and Broadcaster of the Year at the Entertainment and Media Awards (1991, 1992 and 1993).
