Andy Stephen Grove a.k.a Andy Grove is an American engineer, businessman and author of Hungarian origin. He was born on September 2, 1936 in Budapest, Hungary. Andy Grove has served in Intel Corporation at various positions such as COO, Chairman as well as CEO. He is an alumnus of City College of New York havind earned a B.S. in chemical engineering and a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley. Some of the books authored by Andy Grove are Physics and Technology of Semiconductor Devices, One on One With Andy Grove, Swimming Across: A Memoir and The Life and Times of an American. He has been felicitated with Time Man of the Year in 1997 and CEO of the Year by CEO magazine in 1997.
