Christopher "Chris" Anderson is a former Rugby player and Coach of Australia. He was born on 2 May 1952 and represented Australian Kangaroos and New South Wales Blues Wing. Christopher Anderson's playing career started in the early 1970's. As a player he was associated with teams like Canterbury [1971–84], Hull KR [1984–84], Halifax [1984–87] etc. As a coach Christopher Anderson took Australia to World Cup victory and has been associated with various other teams viz. Sydney Roosters, Melbourne Storm, Cronulla etc. Christopher Anderson was awarded the Australian Sports Medal for his contribution to Australian rugby league in 2000.
