Kallam Anji Reddy was an Indian business tycoon in the pharmaceutical industry. He was born in 1940 and died on 15 March 2013 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Anji Reddy was the founder and chairman of Dr Reddy's Labs, having established it in 1984. He also established Dr Reddy's Foundation (DRF) in 1996 under CSR initiative of the company, and served as its chairman. He was an alumnus of Andhra Christian College, UDCT, Mumbai and National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, having done a Ph. D in chemical engineering from the later. Anji Reddy received various awards during his lifetime including the Padma Bhushan award in April 2011.
