Art Briles is a soccer coach and a former soccer player of America . He was born on December 3, 1955 in Rule, Texas. Art Briles pursued his education from Texas Tech University and Abilene Christian University. He earned B.A and M.Ed. degrees from these Universities. Art Briles played for Houston from 1974–1977 as a Wide receiver. He began his Coaching career in the year 1979 with the Sundown HS (TX) as an assistant coach.
