Aron Lee Ralston is a motivational speaker and mountaineer of United States. He was born on October 27, 1975 in Marion, Ohio and is also an engineer. He is widely known as the survivor of canyoneering accident during which he amputated his own right forearm. Aron Ralston has noted the incident in his biography Between a Rock and a Hard Place. The accident is also the subject of the Hollywood film 127 Hours. Aron Ralston has continued mountaineering even after the accident and has appeared on many TV shows such as Late Show with David Letterman, Dateline NBC and Minute to Win It.
