Abu Sara or Abu Qaswarah whose real name is Mohamed Moumou was a leader of Al-Qaida (a militant group) in Iraq and also the co-founder of the militant Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group. Abu Sara was born on July 30, 1965 in Morocco. He also worked as an editor of the Al Ansar newsletter. Abu Sara died at the age of 43 in an encounter with American troops on October 5, 2008 in Mosul, Iraq.
