Nazanin Afshin Jam born on 11 April 1979 is an Iranian national who immigrated to Canada with her family in 1981. She is a model, songwriter, singer, public speaker and a human rights activist and a former Miss World Canada (2003). Nazanin Afshin-Jam married Peter MacKay, Canada's Minister of Justice on January 4, 2012. She is the president and co-founder of Stop Child Executions Organization and can be reached on facebook at Nazanin-Afshin-Jam.
