Blood donation camps are arranged at regular intervals, to motivate students and the public in voluntary blood donation. Camps & Awareness programmes are organized at rural villages to promote social upliftment, literacy, self awareness, health education programmes, women's education, youth welfare, family planning etc.
All Classrooms are airy spacious and equipped with LCD Projector in order to facilitate Audio-Visual teaching and Power Point Teaching and also highly furnished for comfortable seating. There are two seminar halls provided with LCD projector where 400 students and 100 students can occupy at a time respectively.

Each inmate is provided with a personal computer in their rooms. All the Hostel rooms are well ventilated and spacious. The hostels are under the supervision of care takers to ensure discipline and motivation for studies.

Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering College – AMSEC Namakkal offers 4 year full time courses leading to Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Technology.
One of the main responsibilities of the P&T Centre is to motivate and prepare students for successful performance at interviews and subsequent interaction with employers. The students have formal and informal discussions regularly with the P&T staff regarding their future plans. They are trained to prepare effective resume and are advised to follow decorum and department and develop communication skills.
Arranging interviews (on and off campus) to the students is the core business of the PAT Centre and to achieve this objective, the P&T Centre is constantly in touch with prospective employers to ensure that they seriously consider VIT students through the P&T Centre.
