Atpadi College - Sangli was established in 1969 by the Atpadi Education Society. It was this action plan to uplift the society of common poverty stricken men by providing self -disciplined and self dependent mass education, It was In the year 1953 that the Atpadi Education Society was established by Babasaheb Deshmukh to begin with some High-Schools.
The pioneering effort soon spreading liberal education through High-Schools, hostels and college converted into a fruitful juvenating deed. The year 1969 witnessed Atpadi College establishment to attain another height in the field of higher education. From 1969 till today Atpadi College - Sangli is making hard painstaking efforts to fullfil the goals and dreams of Srimant Babasaheb Deshmukh Through steady progressive steps.
