Mission of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan is to serve the society and improve the quality of life by imparting quality education in the areas of engineering, management, pharmacy and other professional courses and to disseminate knowledge through research and consultancy.

This university has come into being initially starting from an engineering institute of Engineering & Emerging Technologies established in the year 2002 where it soon became a premier institute through the committed hard work, creating excellent academic atmosphere and well maintained discipline. It evolved wonderful environment conducive to learning, teaching and research. It was the outcome of experienced and qualified faculty and the institute has been bagging top university positions in H.P. University, Shimla, year after year. In the year 2004 and MBA Course was also started in the institute and later two new institutes viz. Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan offers different kind of bachelor and master courses leading to different streams.
Campus of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan is to complement its top class educational programs, the university has a residential campus spread over 40 acres of picturesque slopes in the midst of Shivalik Hills at Baddi in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The institutes have built up an impressive infrastructure for academics, co-curricular and sports activities. Besides separate hostels for boys and girls with all the basic amenities, the institutes have a treasure-trove of books and periodicals in the libraries. The classrooms are well designed and laboratories have state-of the- art equipments. Library of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan is one of the central support services of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology. The objective of the Central Library is to provide information services and access to bibliographic and full text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the user community. It serves the academic needs of about 2040 students and research scholars and 278 faculty members, technical and administrative staff of our university. The Central Library of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CDs, online databases, books, e-journals, standards, reports, etc. The collection of the Central library includes reference books pertaining to various disciplines of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Applied sciences, and bound volumes of back-dated Journals, back files of Newspaper, Previous year’s question-papers & content list of previous Journals.
Hostel facility of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan there are two hostels for boys (Sr. Boys Hostel and Jr. Boys Hostel) and a separate hostel for girls. The mess of each hostel is equipped with modern facilities. Each hostel has a Residential Warden who under the direction of Chief Warden ensures implementation of discipline and creation of an atmosphere that is conducive to learning. Spacious and well ventilated rooms with adequate furniture and cupboards are available to give the students a homely environment. Girls Hostel of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan is located within the campus and has facilities for indoor games. Special arrangements have been made for the safety, security and privacy of the girls residing in the hostel. To cater to the requirement of increased intake, further stores have been added to Girls Hostel this year. Boys hostels are located at a short convenient distance from the campus and have facilities for outdoor games like badminton, volleyball, basketball and cricket. There is a shopping complex located in the Sr. Boys Hostel to cater to their day-to-day needs.

They are equipped with magnetic boards, overhead and LCD projectors. Tutorial rooms are also well equipped and offer effective close interaction of the tutor with a small group of students.
Internet facility of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan is to meet the challenges of explosive growth of information world over, a dedicated leased line is absolutely necessary. For this, necessary infrastructure has been created by owning a dedicated lease line of 2 MB bandwidth providing 24-hour internet connectivity through multi-protocol connection over Frame/Relay. There are more than 500 Pentium-4 computers centrally networked on Windows Professional 2000 platform. The bandwidth management software ensures equal bandwidth in the systems connected. The campus has a separate laboratory for accessing internet having 100 Pentium-4 systems connected to 2 servers (SMTP Mail Server and Data Base Server). The servers are connected to all the departments and hostels through high speed optical backbone. The entire campuses including hostels are Wi-Fi enabled.
Seminar Halls of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology – BUEST Solan and Conference Halls are aesthetically well designed and furnished in a state-of-the-art fashion. These are well equipped with modern audio visual aids and public address systems for the conducting seminars/conferences and undertaking discussion oriented activities. Seminars, conferences and workshops give adequate exposure to the faculty and students regarding the current trends in technology, management and industry.
