In the year 1913, John Macvicar Anderson designed a neo-Baroue factory and became one of the Northampton,s largest shoe manufacturers. The company was registered to the London Stock Exchange under the name Stylo Boot Company Ltd.
Dolcis was the brand which was overtaken Stylo on February, 2008 and was renamed as Barratts. Under this brand name the company opened approximately 400 retail stores.
