Government Girls Polytechnic - Allahabad has organized Entrepreneurship program through MICRO, SMALL & MEDIUM ENTERPRISES Government of India on Computer Networking at this institute from 03/01/09 to 23/01/09 and various Entrepreneurship program are in pipeline. The various personality development programs have been organized by the institute to enhance the communication skills of students. College students were guided by the professionals on how to face the interview for the campus selection. Various experts were invited to strengthen the overall personality aspects of the students.
The indoor and outdoor sports activities are performed by the students of Government Girls Polytechnic - Allahabad. During the annual sports meet new records have been set by the students. Our students have won the awards in State level sports competition as well. NSS has been initiated in Government Girls Polytechnic - Allahabad since 1999-2000 with strength of 50 students in its regular programme and 25 students allotted for special camp. Presently the scheme is being operated with one unit of 100 students in normal regular activities; fifty students have been allotted for special camping as per norms.
Government Girls Polytechnic - Allahabad has got privilege to implement VTP Scheme at this institute; this scheme has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Labor & Employment, Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training Kanpur. This scheme is going to start at Government Girls Polytechnic - Allahabad from 1st August 2009 on following topics such as Computer Fundamental MS Office & Internet, Computer Networking, Web Designing and Desk Top Publishing.
