Library is fully air conditioned. We have a Reading Section, a Digital Section, an Internet connected Media center and Separate section for Group discussions. The college library is fully automated with the installation of NIRMALS (Networked Information Resource Management for Academic Library System) software. In addition to the central library, there are smaller libraries in each department, which houses books borrowed from the main library for quick reference.

Training and Placement Cell of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology – DSCET Chennai have conducted a seminar about Tips on Facing Job Interviews on 7th August 2009, for the final year and passed out students at the college campus. Mr. Max from e-Earth Consultancy Services has delivered inputs regarding how to face a job interview for software companies such as HCL, SITEL etc.
Number of students interacted with them and cleared their doubts on Group discussion, Body languages and some psychological questions that may be asked in an interview. Dr. Ponraj, Principal, Ms. Kolanjiyammal, Placement Officer and some faculties of various departments have shared their views in this session. Students were felt it was very useful for them and increased their confident level to face an interview tobe held in future.
