It emphasizes real-life experience-based teaching. Its rich library is equipped with internet facilities for the use of its students and faculty. Environment of Inderprastha Dental College and Hospital – Ghaziabad is well-supported by state of the art modern equipment (both imported and indigenous) and materials and patient-simulation systems in all branches of dentistry including Prosthodontics, Restorative Dentistry, Endodontic, Period ontology, Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. The department of Oral and Maxilo-facial Surgery is equipped with full-fledged surgical and after-care facilities. All these departments are ably supported by excellent diagnostic and investigative facilities in the departments of Oral Medicine and Diagnosis, Oral Radiology, Oral Pathology and Microbiology. Community programmes that are organized by the department of Community Dentistry round the year not only provide training to the students in the dental health education aspects but also generate a variety of clinical material. The Dental Council of India, which is the monitoring statutory apex body, has granted approval to our Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course. In fact, our Dental College was one of the few private Dental College in Uttar Pradesh to get such approval in first instance. Inderprastha Dental College and Hospital – Ghaziabad will also offer post-graduate (M.D.S.) programme in six disciplines i.e. Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Oral Pathology and Microbiology and Period ontology in the near future.
The Dental Council of India approved the college and its degree Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). The Dental Hospital attracts a large number of patients and hence ample clinical material is made available to the students. Its annual intake is 100 students and a few seats are reserved for NRI/foreign students.
Research is an integral part of the postgraduate institution. Research activities are carried out in various branches of Dentistry.
