Institute of Business Management and Research – IBMR Kolkata was established in 1976 to cater to the need of management education under the guidance of late S.N. Sen, the then Vice-Chancellor of Calcutta University. Liberalization, Privatization and globalization have thrown open the doors for rapid growth of applied human recourses. Institute of Business Management and Research – IBMR Kolkata are conducting two-year full time (day) and three-year part time (evening) Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes since 2001 approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Govt. of India and has been affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology. We are also conducting under-graduate courses in management related areas under WBUT. Institute of Business Management and Research – IBMR Kolkata are also conducting "SAP overview course" in collaboration with Siemens so as to acquaint the student with the finest global technologies. Our Institute is providing the best quality of practice-oriented teaching with help of full time faculty members and visiting members drawn from reputed industries and universities.
The Institute of Business Management and Research – IBMR Kolkata having 11000 square feet is situated at 318A, Prantik Pally, Kolkata 107, which is opposite Southern Conclave near Eastern Metropolitan By-pass and is about 2 kilometers from the old campus. BBA campus of the Institute of Business Management and Research – IBMR Kolkata is having 4000 square feet (approx) in a prominent location in South Kolkata with modern amenities, computer lab and library.
MBA campus of Institute of Business Management and Research – IBMR Kolkata located at EM Bypass with covered areas of over 11000 square feet (G+4) with state-of-art infrastructure, high-tech networked computer lab with broadband internet backbone and AC class rooms.
