This is the context, in which we shall view the encouragement of Sanskrit learning at Jillellemudi. Years ago in the beginning of the seventies in the 20th century, AMMA conceived Matrusri Oriental College and Sanskrit Pathasala, (school). This school admits the children for their school education, eventually making them eligible to join the Matrusri Oriental College – Guntur, when they complete their schooling. At the College they can complete graduation, the degree course either in Telugu or Sanskrit. Our eldest brother of the Jillellemudi fraternity, Sri Adharapurapu Seshagiri Rao, the founder of the Sree Viswa Jananee Parishat, laid the foundations of the Sanskrit College too at Jillellemudi. The food, accommodation and education are all provided free at the Matrusri Oriental College – Guntur. To ensure the best social benefit, we accept students from poor and backward sections of the society and educate them here, so that the children, who otherwise cannot afford their education, shall be given an open, equal opportunity. The founder principal of these institutions was Dr. Pannala Radha Krishna Sarma, scholar well versed in Sanskrit and deeply committed devotee of AMMA. When he came to bow before AMMA on one occasion, AMMA just asked him whether he will join as the Principal, if a Sanskrit college is opened at Jillellemudi. But on the day of this dialogue, he was not even qualified for the post and was just a school teacher in the village. He was taken aback not knowing the possibility, but nodded his head.
Matrusri Oriental College – Guntur library is a beautiful and modern library well updated books, journals & multimedia learning aids, provides the student and opportunities to keep themselves well versed with related information. A library well stocked with all the necessary volumes is available at the student's disposal. It is the synthesis of theories with working knowledge, together avenues to exploit all the available resources; we can mould our students into thorough professionals, who would become the leaders of their profession.
AMMA’S volition is infallible and worked its way. The so called village school teacher has joined the
Matrusri Oriental College – Guntur faculty, acquired a Doctorate Degree on ‘Adhyathma Ramayana’ eventually has become the Principal of the
Matrusri Oriental College – Guntur, Jillellemudi and held much higher academic positions in later life. He scripted the morning and evening prayers of AMMA and other devotional songs, stanzas on AMMA, in Sanskrit, that are chanted regularly even today since decades and it shall be so for eternity. He produced several spiritual works which are well received. Many of the initial faculty members took their Doctorate Degrees. One lady faculty member took to research on AMMA’s thought and received her doctorate.

Our students of the Matrusri Oriental College – Guntur also have done us proud by winning many academic distinctions and awards in other contests, social service activities and so on. Almost all of them are well placed in jobs in different areas, in academic institutions and also outside. One of them has also joined the All India Services by his meritorious performance. Recently one student was conferred the President’s Gold Medal for distinguishing himself in social service, which covered several thousands of needy public. At the state level in Matrusri Oriental College – Guntur and the national level, our alumni received many awards and prizes. Thus our rolls of honor is verily long and continued over the past four decades, and shall be so even in times ahead by the benign grace of AMMA.
