NCL, you need to re-phrase your ticket office signage. There's a 'today travel' and future travel rooms. I did not appreciate queuing for 15 to 20 minutes for a day return the next day, to be told I could have gone in the today travel room. You need to let people know when they're joining a queue, not when they eventually get served by an agent. Especially when the agent takes offence because she thinks she's doing you a favour by telling you (when it's too late), and is then as unhelpful as she can be issuing the ticket.

Good evening, i purchased a train ticket for the 24th of March from Newcastle to kings cross London at 10. 58am. On arriving to Newcastle Train Station i was informed the train had been cancelled with no explanation. I then was put on the next train about 45 minutes afterwards where it then arrived 15 minutes later than it was due to arrive in London. I had to be at the airport to receive a business group which i was unable to do with the delay from the train. I would very much appreciate if we could arrange a refund for at least some of the total amount paid. (£67. 50) or opportunity to use another ticket in the future as I use the train a lot due to work. I am never normally disappointed with the service provided however on this occasion there was definitely room for complaint. - I have attached a photo of my purchased original train ticket.
