I bought a cordless fillet knife from Gander Mountain in Feb to get ready for walleye season. I did not get a chance to use it until April to took it back to the store to exchange it and they said, 'that it has been longer than 30 days deal with Rapala. 'I've sent sent to emails to you and I've gotten no response. I spent good money on your product and i expect you to stand behind your warranty So this is the Third email, I expect you to get back with me .

I own a sporting goods store and I had a customer bring in a Rapala x-rap XR10 S. He claims he's never used it and says its just been sitting in his tackle box and the body has gotten very gooey in two spots. He's asking me to replace it with a new one. Personally I think some type of chemical may have spilled on it though I do not smell anything unusual, but I could be wrong. I'm writing to you for advice in how to handle this situation. THE REPLACEMENT BATTERY SENT WAS NOT the ONE that was compatible with my Rapala/ION cordless rechargable while attatched to handle. The battery sent was too BIG did not fit and could not be charged while attatched to unit Battery sent almost twice the size of battery for Rapala ION. CHARGED VIA CORD CHARGER WHILE ATTATCHED TO UNIT. PLEASE SEND ASAP. I HAVE ONE ARM NEED A RELIABLE ELECTRIC FILET KNIFE. TYVM. Robert E. Scott USMC ret. (VIETNAM ERA). Vmc hooks, i am a 30 tournament angler and love the hooks, but hate the packaging, hooks need to be protected and your current packaging takes up too much room so the first thing i have to do is take hooks out, repackage and label, getting to be a pain why not put hooks in a package like owner hooks, simply buy them and put them in a dry box, i avoid buying your hooks a lot of times for this reason, get with it my friends and change your packaging .

Today is August 8th and I have not heard a fucking thing from Rapala I was told that my shipment would be shipped in two days and that I would receive an email when it was shipped or I would receive an email if my order was canceled for any reason. I was given a Rapala baitcaster rod and reel for Christmas. The reel is a XR200RH. After the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, I was going to put line on this reel and at that point noticed the reel had no tension nob on it. I have no receipt for this, but would still love to use it as I have been a loyal Rapala customer for well over 20 years. I'm willing to pay for the tension nob if I have to, I just really want this reel to be functional. This is my third attempt to contact a Rapala representative. Please advise me on my next step.
