BRAND NEW WATER HEATER WITH OLD WORN OUT HEATING ELEMENTS. CONTINUOS LEAKING. FLOODED GARAGE. NO HOT WATER. AWFUL CUSTOMER CARE. DISRESPECTFUL. RUDE. DISAPPOINTED. LOSS OF $650 INCLUDING, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS. VERY SAD AND UPSET. I WILL REPORT TO BBB. PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED BY CUSTOMER CARE. THERE IS NO CARE AT Rheem. We are located in Newcastle Ontario Canada. We had a Rheem furnace installed October 2015 by a local dealer. It stopped working December 2017. After 15 + phone calls, emails, text messages left with the installer he finally showed up. Had to replace the circuit board. Our furnace just stopped working AGAIN code 57. We refuse to deal with the installer of this furnace, only want to sell the product not service it. I am contacting another dealer in hopes of better customer service. I am sending this email due to the fact the furnace that this Rheem replaced was over 25 years old and was inn perfect working condition *never* had one service call in that time. We replace due to the pressure from our gas company to upgrade. Understandably we are not very happy with Rheem at this time. Can this email be sent to Rheem Canada in hopes of some resolve.

This is not a complaint, it is an inquiry. My daughter is looking to buy a home with a new 40 gallon Rheem natural gas water heater with standard venting. To maintain your warranty, do you require an expansion tank and where can I get a copy of the venting installation instructions. In a short distance they increased the size going into the chimney.
I ordered a Rheem water heater while at Home Depot. It was not available in store so we ordered it online and I was told it would be in my possession this month between Aug. 17th to 22nd. I ordered it Aug 3rd
I had set up a plumber to install it based on this information. Today based on tracking number it states it will be delivered on Aug. 25 which is unacceptable. When I called Home Depot to inquire, I was told that the unit was not being shipped from the U. S. I was shocked Based on the number of Rheem centers in the U. S. Why in the world would it be shipped from out of country? I am extrememly frustrated with the way Rheem does business with outside vendors. Ordering anything from a giant like Home Depot should not take three weeks The blame is both on Rheem and Home Depot. Terrible.
