Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies – RDIAS New Delhi Library offers collection of about 11193 volumes of assorted and exhaustive text/reference books on different areas of IT and management. Student’s can access to 179 national and international journals, magazines and newspapers. Online and audio Access to Economist, Mckinsey Quarterly, HBR and other international journals of repute and Multimedia and internet access to view documentaries, learning aids and business videos. Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies – RDIAS New Delhi has six sophisticated servers - HP Xeon based server, Linux Server, Internet security and Acceleration Server Firewall, Database Server, Internet Server and DVR Server. All the computers are connected with 100 Mbps network with the central server. RDIAS has separate computer space for MBA and MCA programmes with more than 210 Pentium based systems networked through Windows 2000 Server and Red Hat LINUX server.
Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies – RDIAS New Delhi MCA computer lab is supported in entirety through open source platform. This provides the required exposure to the future technocrats and enables them to explore a new and dominant vista in the software industry today. The MBA and MCA Computer centers have latest software including Visual Studio, .Net, Oracle 10g, Oracle 11g, Microsoft Professional Office 2007, Turbo C/C++ compiler, Quick Heal Total Security & Microsoft Security Essential Antivirus, Java, SPSS etc. Campus agreement with Microsoft for unlimited access to all the software's to facilitate online documentation and other technical help. Both the Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies – RDIAS New Delhi labs are connected to the Internet through leased lines of 2 Mbps connection from VSNL (TATA Communications). Video conferencing through EDUSAT for open access of knowledge to staff and students is also set up in collaboration with AICTE. Teaching at RDIAS requires frequent workshops, presentations, seminars, conferences and co-curricular activities. The institute has a fully air conditioned lecture theater with the state-of-art facilities with seat capacity of 200 students. The theater is well equipped with LCD projector, computer and an audio system.
The Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies – RDIAS New Delhi has two fully air conditioned Audio-Visual rooms, with the seating capacity of 60 each. The A.V. Rooms are well equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities along with multimedia projector and a networked computer with access to internet. Class Rooms Like good working condition leads to better output, good classroom facilities are a must for effective learning. The institute has 7 classrooms and 2 tutorial rooms with a sitting capacity of 60 and 30 students respectively. The rooms are fully air conditioned to ensure a proper learning environment. The rooms are fitted with an OHP, have a provision for LCD projector and a networked computer to incorporate CAL, CAT, CAM & CAX for additional teaching aids.
The Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies – RDIAS New Delhi campus is monitored through 19 closed circuit television cameras at all times. Fire fighting system is installed and regularly checked to ensure proper functioning. A relaxed atmosphere, plenty of entertainment, and a variety of snacks and drinks - these are some of the things that make our Institute café run by BIKANO, the ideal spot to interact in a light mood, or simply unwind after classes. Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies – RDIAS New Delhi have two recreational cum common rooms separate for boys and girls where the students have the facilities of playing table tennis, carom board, chess etc. College offers Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application courses to students.
