I am the wife of a 20-year retired veteran and we have Tricare for life. It has taken me forever to fine information on this great program as one of my doctors refused to give me a steroid injection in each hip which he has been doing for more than a year because he said Tricare said only one shot per visit, but that I could go back the next day to get the other shot. This makes no sense other than the doctors office gets to charge medicare for two office visits and I have to drive a total of 400 miles rather than 200.
