History
The first food outlet of Captain D's was started in 1969 as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers in Donelson, Tennessee. It took four years to expand its chains in the fifteen US locations and year 1974 witnessed its reincorporation under Caption D's Seafood title to make seafood as its primary menu listing. Caption D's Seafood went on to promote itself through comic books and several programs for the kids. The current logo and the themes of its outlets were introduced in 1990s.
