Vindhyachal Women Development & Welfare Society (Regd.) was constituted as a registered body in 2002 with a vision to impart technical, Medical & Paramedical Education to groom up a bread of highly dedicated & skilled professions. Society planned to start a Nursing College in Jabalpur in the name of Amar Jyoti Institute of Nursing Science and Research. To impart a university level education in Nursing Amarjyoti Institute of Nursing Science and Research - Jabalpur was started in 2003 with a vision to prepare highly skilled nurses as the Nurse - Patient ratio in India is very low. With the ever increasing pressure on the health sector the demand for qualified Nurses is on rise. Amarjyoti Institute of Nursing Science and Research - Jabalpur offers four year full time regular study program leading to B.Sc. Nursing Degree and Two years Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree courses (for trained Nurses).
