Kottureshwara College – Bellary is the constituent college of the Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha, established in 1967 and is the leading educational institution in this region. Kottureshwara College – Bellary initially affiliated to Karnataka university Dharwad later it is affiliated to Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. It has the excellent academic and non academic record over 42 yearswith a plethora of Ranks, Distinctions, Medals, Trophies and Shields at University level. Our collegestudent player participated in the inter-university games and sport and bagged all - roundChampionships. Many of our students became university Blues. One of our students had won theNational Integration Award from Prime Minister on the occasion of Youth festival including manyother rewards to its credit. With all these accomplishments, Kottureshwara College – Bellary had celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 1992.
