Teaching is offered both by their resident faculty and by numerous adjunct and guest lecturers.
The students of Biblical Graduate School of Theology are typically working adults with some experience of life. With the needs of such people in mind they aim to provide teaching that will be both academically rigorous and practically useful. Their graduates have either gone back to their professions, or are serving as pastors, missionaries and theological educators, or are continuing their studies in other theological institutions.
Establishment: Biblical Graduate School of Theology - BGST Bishan was established in 1989, with a noble thought to allow Christians all over the world to live with and serve God more effectively. In 1988, the basic outline of BGST was presented to around 80 people at Clementi Bible Centre.
Faculty: The faulty at BSGT are professionals in the field of God. They are all well versed in the Bible and Torah, both in Hebrew and English. They not only teach but also hold sessions and confessions time to time.
Accreditation: All three programs of Biblical Graduate School of Theology - BGST Bishan, the Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies (Grad Dip CS), the Master in Christian Studies (MCS) and the Master of Divinity (M Div), are accredited by the Asia Theological Association. It is recognized by the Ministry of Education as a private school offering religious education. They can accept foreign students for full-time study. While keeping their autonomous status, they are open to a fraternal relationship with other theological schools which share their mission and goals and their theological position. BGST’s Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies, Master in Christian Studies and Master of Divinity are recognized by Regent College and other reputable theological schools.
