Campus Centre: FY Institute of Technology Campus Centre is situated at the heart of Singapore’s Financial District along Shenton Way, within the former Singapore Polytechnic Building. It is conveniently situated with bus stop next to it and Tanjong Pagar MRT station within 10 minutes walk. Being in the financial district there are a host of amenities within walking distance for the students from food outlets to stores and touristy sites.
Hostel: 10 Kwong Avenue, at the intersection between Potong Pasir and MacPherson areas is the SIT International Hostel. Adjacent to a private estate, the tranquil surroundings are extremely suitable for students to live and study in. The hostel amenities include a multi-purpose hall, computer room, reading room besides sporting facilities that include a huge field and basketball courts. The Hostel is well connected by public buses as well as the north-east line of the SMRT. According to the official website of FY Institute of Technology, a four sharing room is $450 a month inclusive of utilities.
Infrastructure: As far as infrastructure is concerned, classrooms are provided with whiteboards and portable projectors. The library has an estimated 1500 books and the computer centre houses 16 personal computers for students to utilize. FY Institute of Technology - FYIT Tanjong Pagar also has it’s own auditorium which can be rented. As far as sporting facilities go, basketball, volleyball and netball courts are available for use.
