Gondia Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is a self-financing institution run by Gondia Homoeopathic Education Society from the academic year 1989-90. [Registration no. Maharashtra/91/76(B)] The College offers a degree course (BHMS) of four and a half years duration plus one year compulsory rotating internship after passing Final BHMS Examination. The College has obtained approval of Government of Maharashtra and is recognised by Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi. Gondia Homoeopathic Education Society has already applied for the Post-Graduate course (M.D.) in Homoeopathy which is expected to be operational very soon.

Gondia Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital was constituted and registered in the year 1975-76. The main object of the society was to provide health services in rural areas and improve the quality of health as Gondia is situated in a backward region as per the Government of Maharashtra. Only the system of Homoeopathy can solve the problems of health in India since it is cheap, easily available and it offers a permanent cure.
Gondia Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital has well equipped laboratories (Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Museum etc.) & an Anatomy Dissection Hall for the students. Apart from these, the college has an enriched library having more than ten thousand books on Anatomy, Medicine, Physiology, Gynaecology, Homoeopathy and many Journals for the benefit of students. The institute owns a 50 bedded hospital. Ambulance service as well as mobile medical unit is in operation. Adequate clinical trainning is provided to the students in our own as well as attached chain of hospitals.
