Joitiba College of Nursing – JCN Mehsana represents a shared vision and a collaborative effort of Mr. Bhogilal Laljibhai Patel and his team of committed professionals and family members. This vision began to take form as early as 1978 when the present Chairman Mr. Bhogilal Patel decided to open social service centers and educational institutions in his native place Valam, a tiny village, nestled in the milk district of Mehsana in Gujarat State of India. From the academic year 2008-09 the trust has established Joitiba College of Nursing – JCN Mehsana with an intake capacity of 30 seats. The college offers B.Sc. Nursing, P.B. B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, ANM.
Joitiba College of Nursing – JCN Mehsana is permitted by Government of Gujarat and recognized to Gujarat Nursing Council, Indian Nursing Council and affiliated with North Gujarat University, Patan. We started this college with the objectives of training the students to become competent nurses for first level positions in nursing, to provide quality care in hospitals and to community and thereby contributing to health care of our nation.
Joitiba College of Nursing – JCN Mehsana is situated at Lalji Park, At & post : Bhandu Mehsana – Unjha Highway Ta:- Visnagar Dist.:- Meahsana, Gujarat. To provide a modern, efficient and welcoming library services for all members of the college and for all others with valid reasons to make use of college library collection and facilities, so enabling the college to fulfill its statutory and strategic aims. A hostel is away from home live to learn and learn to live. A modern canteen facility provides hygienic, snacks and beverages at a reasonable price. Food center is functioning in campus apart from the mess The Institute canteen is of a big central hall-type in its own campus students can enjoy their refreshment at the canteen during college hours.
Joitiba College of Nursing – JCN Mehsana Nursing foundation lab is one which makes the imagination of hospital set up, and the students can study the procedures and all the things on dummy with the help of clinical instructors. The lab is well furnished and well ventilated with all the necessary equipments like patient beds, mattresses, bed sheets, bedside locker, linens and blankets, napkins and towels, bed cradle, cardiac table, wheel chair, stretcher, critical care unit( with O2 cylinder with flow meter, CPR dummy and Suction apparatus), different sizes procedure trays, and other instruments. And all the equipments are as per INC recognize and enough for each nursing courses.
Joitiba College of Nursing – JCN Mehsana the community lab is proper equipped and well furnished with healthy environment of learning. The lab consist of the all equipment for providing the basic care in term of primary health care like community bag, Maternity kit and others. We have M.C.H lab, which is well ventilated and well furnished and well equipped. In M.C.H lab we have the manikins like newborn baby, cardio pulmonary resuscitation child, fetus delivery.
Joitiba College of Nursing – JCN Mehsana anatomy and physiology lab consist of all the equipment such as adult human articulated skeleton, adult skull, pelvic, heart with large blood vessels, eye with different section, ear with different section, full set of dis articulated adult human skeleton, specimen like gall bladder with gall stones, cyst, appendix, normal uterus, placenta, uterus and sub mucus fibroid etc…and different charts of all the systems.
Joitiba College of Nursing – JCN Mehsana emphasizes on the healthy and allround development of its students by providing opportunities for both outdoor and indoor games and sports activities. The entire student population is encouraged to take part in various sports that will give them physical fitness. The college provides the students with facilities in badminton, tennikoit, shot-put, disc throw cricket, football, volleyball and athletics. The continuing goal of the recreation program is to provide activities that offer optimum benefits of enjoyment, health,and social interaction.
